Linux is a computer Operating System which is capable of handling activities from multiple users at the same time.

I) Controls and access to hardware.
II) Implements and supports to Processes, files .
III) Schedules / allocates system resources like Memory, CPU, disk.
IV) Responds to user requests for service
V) Security and protection.
