Get Method:

{i}Requests Can be cached.
{ii}Maximum URL length is 2048 characters.
{iii}Can be bookmarked.
{iv}GET is less secure compared to POST because data sent is part of the URL.
{v}Data is displayed in the URL.

Post Method:

{i}POST requests are never cached
{ii}No restrictions on data length.
{iii}Cannot be bookmarked.
{iv}POST is a little safer than GET because the parameters are not stored in browser history.
{v}Data is not displayed in the URL.
