I want to add a target attribute of a link on the top menu from wordpress backend.

Please follow the below steps to add a target attribute of a specific link on the wordpress Menu.You don’t need to do any hardcore programming.It’s very easy to activate.

Step 1:

Please Go to “Menus” under “Appearance”. Then click on the “Screen Options” button, located on the top right corner in wordpress backend.

Step 2:

Just enable “Link Target option” under “Show advanced menu properties”.

Step 3:

In your Menu items,a new field will be displayed as “Link Target”.Please check that option and it will works.
